Bout of Books Wrap-Up
Round 17 of Bout of Books came to an end yesterday. Sadly, I did not do well this round. It’s ok though. It happens. Life likes to throw little curve balls and our reading paths take a different turn from time to time. I can say that I was able to read two books during the read-a-thon. I was able to fully complete one book and half of a second book. I read a total of 323 pages in the seven days…so I averaged about 46 pages a day. When I break it down that way it makes me feel like I accomplished a little bit more. I finished reading Haven ( Chronicles of Warshard, Book 1 ) by Katherine Bogle. You can see my review HERE if you are interested. Also, there is an author interview and giveaway.
Round 18 of Bout of Books is coming!
It has just been announced that Round 18 of Bout of Books is coming in January 2017. It will be held January 2nd-January 8th. Be sure to go follow the blog and Twitter page for updates on the next read-a-thon.
I had so much fun participating! I was able to participate in some of the challenges, I visited blogs of other participants and left comments on their progress, made some new friends on Twitter, and enjoyed what reading I was able to do. The whole point of read-a-thons is to have fun…so mission accomplished! 🙂
I did fairly well this time even being sick, but I totally relate with you as I’ve had other RATs I’ve participated in and not done all that well. I think reading is reading though and you still got an entire book read, which is great!
You can see my wrap-up here.
Hey Tressa,
Hope you are feeling better. Thanks for taking time to comment on my post. You are right, one is better than none. I will check out your post. 🙂
