Hello my lovely bookaholics! I decided to try something new out today. My friend Kristi – also known as the Boston Book Reader tagged me to do the Anything But Books Tag. I thought it would be fun, and help you all get to know me a little bit better. Let’s spark up some banter. Here we go!
1. Name a cartoon(s) that you love:
While I don’t watch cartoons much nowadays, I have always been a fan of Betty Boop! Betty Boop was one of my nicknames when I was a teenager. I loved her. I also liked Jem, Rainbow Brite, and of course my two ultimate favorites to this day will ALWAYS be Belle and Ariel.
2. What is your favorite song right now?
Oh! So many! I find myself singing Despacito constantly! I even made it my ringtone for when my Hubby calls me. Lol. I am also loving Issues by Julia Michaels, and Believer by Imagine Dragons. Any time these songs come on in the car I turn the volume up, sing along and get my dance on. I LOVE music! It’s one of my biggest loves besides books.
3. What could you do for hours (that isn’t reading)?
Sing! I love going out for karaoke. Listen to music, dance, draw, color, write. Binge watch a show on Netflix or On Demand. I lalso love swimming! I could swim in a pool for hours.
4. What is something you love to do that your followers would be surprised by?
Well, I pretty much named a bunch of things I love to do in the last question…but don’t worry, I have more. I guess I would say going to zumba class, or running, walking, lifting weights. I like getting a good sweat on. It makes me feel accomplished and makes me feel good about myself.
5. What is your favorite unnecessarily specific thing to learn about (this can do with books, I guess)?
Aliens! UFO’s! I’m obsessed! Also, I like to learn about fitness, eating healthy, recipes, cooking, makeup.
6. What is something unusual you know how to do?
I can pick things up with my toes. I can also sing with my mouth closed.
7. Name something you’ve made in the last year (and show us, if you can)
I haven’t really made anything, except food. I have colored some pictures, and I have worked on writing my book-so I guess that counts.
8. What is your most recent personal project?
My most recent personal project would have to be my readathon: Alphabethon. The first round started out with just me as a host and now I have a bunch of wonderful co-hosts to help me out. I am also working on writing two books. I have ideas and projects I want to do but haven’t started any yet. I want to start a few more websites. I have been collecting wine corks and want to make a project with those from ideas I have seen on Pinterest.
9. Tell us something you think about often (maybe while staring out of windows)
More now than ever I think about working out all the time. Since I was getting into the routine of working out 4-5 times a week and now have gotten a little lax with my zumba instructor being away for the summer and youtube no longer being able to played on my television (that was how I did all my workouts). So when I’m not working out I think about how I should be, or when I put something unhealthy in my mouth like a slice of pizza I think about how I should be eating salad.
Another thing I think about all the time is my daughter leaving next year. She will be going into her senior year and I think about how much I will miss her, but I also think about all the time i will have to myself to do what I want to do. I have been thinking about traveling, vacations, and even possibly moving to another state. My Husband and I never really wanted to stay here in Pennsylvania. We only did it for our daughter.
10. Give us something that’s your favorite, but make it something oddly specific, not like your favorite food, but like your favorite food when you’ve been studying for hours and forgot to eat. Or, you know, something like that.
This one was very difficult for me for some reason. I wracked my brain for a while. All that I could come up with is reading when it is snowing or when there is heavy rain or a thunderstorm. Ooh! Wait! That helped! I came up with one more! Singing and dancing in the shower to my google music shower jams play with my wireless bluetooth waterproof speaker and then listening and singing along to my jams while I do my makeup and get ready to go out. Oh, and can’t forget the occasional singing into the hairbrush. Lol.
Well that’s all my lovely bookaholics! Let me know in the comments below what your favorite question was. Answer one yourself if you feel like it. If you have a blog, feel free to tag yourself and let me know if you do so I can come read your answers.

It sure is! As long as you are having fun singing, that’s all that matters. Thanks Jessica. 🙂
