Round Three of Alphabethon
Hello my lovely bookaholics! It’s time for Round Three of Alphabethon! Round Two of Alphabethon was so much fun and so successful that I decided that I just couldn’t wait until Fall to host a third round…. so here we are! It’s Summer, it’s time to have fun!
The second round of Alphabethon went so well. I was able to bring some co-hosts on board to help out with the reading sprints and we had so much fun sprinting with all of you! Those same co-hosts will be back again for the third round and we hope to have just as much, if not even more fun! There is no set sprinting schedule. All of the hosts will be taking turns throughout each day to bring you sprints on Twitter. Make sure to follow all the hosts as well as the @alphabethon page, so you don’t miss a single sprint.

Enter to Win a Prize!
I was able to give away a $25 amazon gift card to one lucky Alphabethoner for Round Two and I am going to do the same for Round Three. All you have to do to be eligible is post a picture of your C TBR (either on Twitter or Instagram) and use the hashtag #alphabethon. That’s it. Easy peasy!
How This Works
For those of you who haven’t participated yet and don’t know how this readathon works it’s really simple. For the first round of Alphabethon we started with the letter A, the second round was letter B, and for THIS round, we will be using the letter C. The idea of this readathon is to read the alphabet. So for this round we will choose book titles that begin with a letter C and read as many as you can during the week. If you are having a hard time building a C Title TBR, you can choose to go another route. You can choose to read books where the author’s last name begins with C. If you are still having a difficult time, then read books by authors whose first name starts with C. If you really want to shake things up, then do a mix of all three. I tried to make it as easy as possible for everyone to be able to participate. The whole point of a readathon is to get a lot of reading done, have fun, and meet other readers.
New This Round of Alphabethon
For this round of Alphabethon, I want to throw in some alphabet themed Challenges and make it more interesting. You don’t have to do the challenges if you don’t want to. These are just for fun.
Seven Challenges are…
Read a book with three Cs. (Title, Author’s first name, and last name all begin with C)
Read a book with a MC (main Character) whose name starts with C.
Read a book with a C setting. ( Town, City, State, etc. begins with C)
Read a book that has a picture of something on the front or back Cover that begins with C.
Read your book in a spot other than the Couch that begins with C for a total of an hour. (example: car, closet, at a counter)
Read a book with a Count of over 400 pages
Read a book with a Count of under 200 pages.
My C TBR For Round Three of Alphabethon
I know, this tbr is quite ambitious! I still have to find a book with three Cs but I have an idea for that one. I just have to put it on hold at my local library. This tbr may change. I may add a few more. Lol.
