The Portal to Kerberos by Michelle Madow: Book Review
Book 4 in the Elemental series: The Portal to Kerberos by Michelle Madow came out on August 28, 2016. I am so thankful for Michelle for giving me the chance to read and review this book. I absolutely love this series. I just recently participated in the cover reveal for book 5 (the conclusion) in the Elemental series: The Hands of Time. You can see it HERE. It will be released on November 25, 2016. If you haven’t read this series, I really hope you do. It’s so much fun! Michelle is offering a FREE e-book copy to new readers. Synopsis:
After being betrayed by one of their own, Nicole watches helplessly as Blake is snatched into the prison world of Kerberos—along with Medusa’s head, which is the one item they need to stop the Titans from rising again. Now Nicole and the other Elementals must enter the portal, find Blake, and bring him and Medusa’s head back to Earth before the deadly monster Typhon returns and wreaks havoc on the world. But there’s one catch—their elemental powers don’t work in Kerberos. In a dimension designed to make those within it lose touch with reality, and that’s filled with dangerous creatures who want to stop them from completing their task, will they make it out alive?
In this penultimate book of Nicole’s story, join the Elementals as they journey through hell to save the world… before it’s too late.
My Review:
Fun! Fun! Fun! It never stops. Each book in this series just gets better and better, and The Portal to Kerberos did not disappoint one single bit. It was so exciting to see these characters finally get to enter the portal of Kerberos and to see all what was waiting them in that dark world.
This one, just like all of them, picks up right where they left off. Situations get more intense. Danger is at an all-time high. Betrayal, death, heartache and heartbreak. This one really goes all out. As usual, this book was fast-paced. It kept me engrossed in the story. It was impossible to put down. It was one of those books that were so enjoyable to read that I couldn’t believe how quickly I finished it.
Things are kept new, fresh, and exciting. There are a ton of new creatures introduced. A ton of obstacles to face and overcome. The plot thickens and there is a HUGE plot twist at the end of this one! It’s even bigger than the last book in the series. As always, Michelle leaves us on the edge of our seat with a cliff-hanger that will have you waiting impatiently for the next book…this time we will have to wait, sice sadly book 5 is not out yet.
This story was imaginative, full of magic, and by far the best one yet! I truly couldn’t have asked for more. It exceeded my expectations for the next book in the series. I am so pumped for the conclusion in the 5th book, but at the same time devastated to see this series end.
