Demon Princess by Kassandra Lynn
Review of Demon Princess by Kassandra Lynn
Adriana is a Demon Princess who is about to become the first female Demon King in the Demon Kingdom. Suddenly she awakens to find herself in another Kingdom. One where she has no control. There are reasons that she can not leave. There is only one way that she can get back home. She must find a magical object, but it means traveling to a place where she will have to put herself in danger. She will have to set out on the road with some characters who may be out to get her and one character who she has grown very fond of. Keldrin. The only one who has acted like a gentleman since she arrived here. Keldrin is the only one who treats here kindly.
As she heads out to find the Enchanted stone that can get her back to her kingdom, Adriana is going to face some obstacles along the way and once she reaches her destination. As long as she can find this object and keep her secret about who she really is she should have no problem getting back to the Demon King. Or will she?
My only complaints about this book was that the story was not long enough. I wanted more of Adriana and Keldrin. It would have been nice to have a little more world building and get to know the Kingdoms as well as the characters. Thankfully this book is the first in a series so I’m sure there will be many more great things to come. This was a spectacular fantasy novel full of all kinds of creatures and beings. The story was very easy to follow and I was never left feeling confused or not understanding what was going on. It was very enjoyable, and I flew through the pages quickly. The concept of the story was very original. I loved everything about it. I was never left confused. Everything was explained in a simple way. There were many magical elements in this book to keep me captivated and hold my interest.
