Books That Are Movies

The Maze Runner by James Dashnermaze

Wow! This book was not at all what I expected!

I was kind of turned off in the first couple of chapters-by the weird language that they used. It almost made me want to quit reading on.  I must say that I am glad I trudged on. This book got very interesting. It was VERY intriguing and I couldn’t help but continue on. This book was very well thought out. It keeps you guessing the whole way through.
Just when you think you have it all figured out, you have to wait for the next book! I,for one, CAN’T wait to read the next book! I was able to read a sneak peek of the next novel and I must say, things are going to get VERY interesting!
I just put the next book in the series on hold at my local library. I am looking forward to reading the next one and I am dying to see this movie now and how this great work of imagination will  play out! This was the first time I have read a book by James Dashner and I am now a die-hard fan!

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

A brilliant fictional story in the time of Nazi Germany!

The story is cleverly narrated through the eyes of Death himself. This story is one that will leave you in awe.
It will inspire you to be a better person, spend more time with the ones you love, find the goodness in the world, and above all be thankful for what you have.
When I read this book it was so hard for me to pick up another book because this one touched me so deeply. The ending brought tears to my eyes.
This book is a MUST READ!!
I have seen the movie for this book also. It was beautifully done! I was very happy with the way they brought this story to life.

The Fault in Our Stars by John Greenfault

Bawled my eyes out! TFIOS moved me!

The most beautiful but one of the saddest stories I have ever read. Icould  feel the presence of the  characters like I was there with them  in the story!
This was the first John Green novel I had ever read. I absolutely adored it! I now plan to go on and read every other book he has written. He is now at the top of my list for favorite authours.
John Green knows how to perfectly weave a story,  making you feel like you have jumped into the book and become a  part of that story!
I devoured this book in one sitting. It had been years since I did that. It was just that riveting.
It doesn’t matter that this book is a YA novel. I promise you, even if you are an adult, you will LOVE this story. I don’t know anyone who has picked this book up and been disappointed.
Make sure you have some tissues ready. If you don’t shed a tear when reading this story, well then frankly, your heart must be made of stone!  I NEED to see this movie pronto! I can’t wait another day! Okay? Okay!

One For The Money by Janet Evanovichjanetevanovich1

A FUN, THRILLING, ROMANTIC, & HILARIOUS RIDE

This book introduces us to the lovable character Stephanie Plum. She is down on her luck, broke, and in need of filling her kitchen with some edible food.
Stephanie decides to take a job as a fugitive apprehension agent-or better known as a bounty hunter. It’s her uncle’s business, and she doesn’t have a choice. It’s better than eating at her parents house every night.
Along the way some more characters- who we can expect to see more of -are introduced. Including the two hunks Joe Morelli, and Ranger, the street hooker Lula, the batty but lovable Grandma Mazur, along with some others.
This is not a book you want to miss! This is by far, one of the BEST series I have ever read. I own every book in the series. All 21 of them along with the in-between novels. If you love a series that is full of laugh-out-loud humor, romance, mystery, and excitement, do NOT miss this series.
I, of course, have already seen this movie. I am a HUGE Janet Evanovich fan! She is my number one go-to author. I even went so far as to buy a shirt on Janet’s website and wear it to movie theater the first day the movie came out. YES! I am that obsessed with the Stephanie Plum series!

DON”T MISS THIS SERIES!

I will be adding some more books in the next couple of days. Keep checking back. Let me know what you think of the books and movies that are shown here. What is your favorite book made into a movie? Let’s banter bookaholics! Which did you like better? The movie or the book? As for me, the book always wins. Happy reading!
